Open day 2024
Are you professionally active, but do you want to continue to develop within the graphic field? Or do you want to master a new skill?
The Plantin Institute of Typography offers a practical course where you learn how to design type under the roof of Museum Plantin-Moretus in Antwerp. This Expert class Type design comprises nine daylong, online sessions, supplemented with a four-day kick-off event in Antwerp (21–24 October 2024). This practical course is one of a kind and attracts an international audience of type designers.
Open Day
The Open Day of the Plantin Institute will take place on Saturday 18 May 2024 and is the perfect opportunity to inform you about the range of courses on offer. Frank Blokland will be present to answer all your questions, you can view some of the teaching materials and the graduation work of our practicals. We will show you how we combine in-person and online lessons.
This edition will be held in three sessions, at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. You can also participate in the sessions via Zoom.
